Senior Counsel Corporate Contracting

Fortrea -- a global leading life sciences company whose mission is improving health, improving lives -- is seeking to hire a lawyer specializing in Corporate Contracting globally. As the Sr. Counsel Corporate Contracting, you will be responsible for supporting sourcing, procurement and real estate contracts for the company.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Legal review and negotiation for corporate contracts, including supply agreements, real estate leases, software agreements and marketing arrangements
- Advising on import/export matters in relation to suppliers, capital projects, and procurements strategies
- Negotiating agreements with suppliers and other corporate service providers
- Managing outside counsel advising on corporate contractual matters and related issues
- Suggesting improvements to departmental processes, templates, tools, and training on an ongoing basis in response to emerging trends, regulatory requirements, and the company’s risk management posture.
- Regularly use of company systems including the action tracking system and other corporate systems as required and supports departmental reporting requirements.
- Providing management with regular status updates on open matters and outstanding issues.
- May travel up to 10%
Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in related job discipline
- Prior in house counsel in similar role and/or large law firm experience preferred
Education/Qualifications:
- Professional degree/designations/certifications/licenses legally required: JD (or equivalent); must be admitted to practice in a U.S. state or UK and in good standing
