Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Support strategy implementation.Provide category expertise. Leads sourcing plan implementation in area of responsibility through change planning, negotiation, contract development, etc. Actively chip in to the identification of business critical opportunities resulting in process improvement, savings generation.Support Category Managers and possibly local country/site teams in day-to-day spend, projects and vendors management activities.
• Maintain strong communication with category, countries, sites and business functions. Responsible for the communication / distribution of any regional-specific strategies to the relevant customers (region and country) together with site and/or country business partners.Support development and execution of projects based on the Category Strategy and business activities to fit into the annual category planning. Support in matters management by providing analytics and tracking matter specific metrics, prepare ad-hoc reports for customers and the category team. Contribute to global Category Management projects.
• Contracting activitiesContract preparation-Contract drafting based on agreed templates.Full terms and conditions or contractual terms negotiation. Contract review and contract content approvals coordination, signature process initiation and monitoring (ink, electronic).Contract archiving in the global standard contract management system.
• Post signature contract management: Contracts search and reporting. Contracts check against defined procedures (e.g. amendments stored correctly).Monitoring and identification of expiring contracts, initiating process for contract extension or driven bidding.Termination strategy definition and contracts termination management.Business support with unsolved delivery issues (customer concern point).Suppliers’ performance review coordination for key local suppliers.
• Performance, Compliance and Standards.Collect supplier, market, category and internal business data. Perform complex matter and vendor level spend analysis. Coordinates and collaborates with Category to ensure transparency and consistency on spend and savings data.Manage preferred supplier roster, incl. creating and monitoring SLAs, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Contribute to cost-effectiveness of commercial deals, risk management of supply base and ensuring that company standards are appropriately applied.
• Ensure that all internal and external risks are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Monitor compliance and adherence to Sandoz Procurement policies and procedures.
