Ethicon, Inc., a member of the MedTech sector of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting a Finance Manager to support the newly formed Capital R&D group, including both R&D and Global Marketing & Strategy. This role will support business partners across multiple sites. This position is preferably based out of Cincinnati, OH, but open to considering other locations.

The Finance Manager will provide finance business partnering and support spanning across several platforms within Ethicon. This individual will report to the Finance Director Global Ethicon Franchise and will be one of the key business partners for the Capital R&D Vice President and play a prominent leadership role on the Global Leadership teams for the supported platforms

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Direct business partnering with business leadership to craft strategies, prioritize investments, optimize innovation portfolio and resource management, and ensure performance measurements are met or exceeded
• Analyze and bring insights from Global P&L's, communicating key financial metrics and KPI results and trends to leadership teams
• Lead business case valuations for various pipeline projects
• Build effective partnerships with cross functional teams (Supply Chain, Regional Commercial, etc.)
• The role will have direct managerial responsibility for 1 senior financial analyst.
• It is important for the Finance Manager to connect in a virtual / multi-campus environment with business partners and staff, function efficiently in a sophisticated organization, and to build practical insights that influence strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive business experience is required, in finance or accounting related fields
• CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred
• Strong financial analysis and attention to detail required
• The ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills is required

• This position is preferably based out of Cincinnati, OH, but open to considering other locations.

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
