Hologic is seeking a skilled Field Application Specialist (FAS) to join their Diagnostic division in Andalucia, Spain.

The responsibilities will include pre-site assessment, customer training & education, troubleshooting and all go live activities ensuring Hologic’s agreements are delivered. The Field Application Specialist will be the main point of contact for the laboratory for after-sales support and account management in conjunction with the Key Account Manager. The Field Application Specialist will be required to work in close alignment with Field Service Engineering team, Technical Solutions and Customer Services team, ensuring the customers receive a first-class service.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Educating customers on product use and troubleshooting
• Building relationships with customers and becoming a trusted advisor
• Providing clinical expertise in diagnostics
• Collaborating with commercial team and acting as a technical expert
• Supporting clinical trials, data collection and tender activities
• Representing the company at Conferences & Exhibitions and supporting Hologic sponsored workshops
• Ability and willingness to travel (up to 80%)

What you’ll bring to the role:

Skills & Knowledge:

• Committed to a high standard of customer care
• Autonomous with ability to plan and manage own priorities
• Ability to conduct public presentations and drive group sessions
• Ability to work with sales team to promote products, systems and technologies
• Fluency in Spanish and intermedium level of English. Portuguese is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Health Science degree
• 2 years of experience in a commercial role as product specialist
• Know-how on molecular diagnostic assays
• Previous experience working in a microbiology laboratory is a plus
• Experience with with cytology screening a benefit
